GLENN GAWRONSKI

Glenn Gawronski is the founder and portfolio manager of Byron Place Capital Management.  Prior to starting his own firm, Glenn worked as a Managing Director and Senior Portfolio Manager at JPMorgan Asset Management in the US Equities Group.  He was the Lead Portfolio Manager of the JPMorgan Small Cap Core Equity Team where he was responsible for $4.6 Billion in AUM across three different strategies (Small Cap Core, Micro Cap, and Mid Cap Core).

Under his tenure, the JPMorgan Small Cap Equity Fund (VSEIX) outperformed its benchmark (Russell 2000) by over 450 BPS and ranked in the top one percentile in its Morningstar category.  The Small Cap Equity Fund won the Lipper Award in 2013 for Best Fund over Ten Years in the Small Cap Core Category and won the Lipper Award in 2009 for Best Fund over Five Years in the Small Cap Core Category.

Glenn was a member of the JPMorgan Investment Management Global Advisory Council and worked at the firm for nearly 15 years. Prior to becoming a portfolio manager, he served as the Senior Analyst for the JPMorgan Asset Management $650 Million Microcap Strategy.

Glenn holds a B.S. in finance from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a holder of the CFA designation and is a member of both the New York Society of Security Analysts and the Association of Investment Management and Research.
